Lauryn Evarts Bosstick is an effing genius. Lauryn started her blog while she was in college, and she has since created a community and brand with the Skinny Confidential. Lauryn and her now husband Michael Bosstick, co-host this podcast and feature a wide assortment of accomplished guests. The guests range from reality star, turned entrepreneur Kristin Cavallari, to leaders in the personal development sphere like Lewis Howes.
Listen if: You are in a relationship, and if you aren’t! Lauryn is always torturing Michael, and it makes for the best content. The duo are also entrepreneurial power-houses and have a lot of insight to share. Lauryn is a serious badass and I am constantly learning from her through the Skinny Confidential Podcast. This pod is always funny and consistently informative, a must listen.
The Almost 30 podcast is the first pod I recommend to basically any woman I have EVER conversed with. Best friends Krista Williams and Lindsey Simcik started this podcast to discuss their Saturn Return, otherwise known as the years of transition and growth leading up to turning 30. The show has since evolved into an informative wellness platform and cool girls community. They host events in LA, and are currently “on tour” in the United States and Canada.
Listen if: You have boobs and are interested in learning about your hormones, like laughing and learning about the journeys of inspirational women. It is the show that got me hooked on podcasts and continually expands my knowledge in health, wellness and entrepreneurship.
Listen if: You can make fun of yourself, and your face mask routine. Stephanie Simbari and Elizabeth Kott are OG’s in the wellness world, as LA dwellers and fabulous podcasters. They bring on an array of guests in the wellness world, but always keep it real with the latest on Vanderpump Rules. Ah, the balance. This pod is a great intro to the wellness world without making you feel intimidated. You are sure to be giggling and craving organic wine by the end of your first episode. Warning: once you dip your toes, you’ll never go back.
The Influencer Podcast is a newer find of mine, and I have been EATING it up. Hosted by bestselling publicist Julie Solomon. The Influencer Podcast is dedicated to informing the next generation of influencers, entrepreneurs and small business owners with practical skills and applicable advice. Personally, the content is very relevant as I am reconstructing my beliefs for what I believe I monetarily deserve for the work I create. This podcast is absolutely expanding my self- worth, and helping me to understand the value of the work I create. This month, I plan to embark on Julie’s Pitch It Perfect Course, a guide for influencer’s on their journey to monetize and pitch it perfect!
Listen if: You are a small business owner, influencer, or needing motivation for your endeavors. Julie is an incredibly qualified host and is sharing vital information to succeed in the influencer sphere. She is a warm, God loving woman, and is in her element as she teaches these skills to influencers.
Listen if: You love to LAUGH!!! I have totally fallen in love with Anna Faris through this show!! Quirky, silly and kind Anna along with long time friend Sim Sarna, co-host Unqualified. Anna and Sim interview well known folks in Hollywood, and ask them funny relationship questions. Later in the show, they receive real listener calls asking for advice. The calls vary from navigating awkward work relationships, to asking out the hot guy at the gym, and far far beyond in the depths of random interactions. I listen to every episode religiously and audibly crack up wherever I am. In the car, on the train, or strolling in Brooklyn, I cannot hold back the giggles that come with this podcast.
